Bath and body products are best used fresh!

Bath bombs typically have a 6-month shelf life when stored in an airtight container keeping them away from moisture in the air.  Even when shrink wrapped, moisture in the air can still get through perforated material surrounding the bath bomb.  If a bath bomb has been exposed to moisture in the air for any amount of time, it may not perform well i.e. lack of fizz/foam, may crumble when handled, etc.  If you currently store any of your bath products in your bathroom (the most humid place in your home), run to the kitchen and grab that old Tupperware container from the back of the cabinet.  It’s her time to shine 😉

Solid bubble bath (bubble bars, bubble scoops, bubble cake pops, etc.) have a 6-month shelf life, and are best used fresh.  Store any remaining unused product in an airtight container, plastic wrap, or resealable bag to keep away from moisture in the air.  If product is exposed to humidity/moisture in the air, tiny white moisture beads may form on the outside of the product as it contains glycerine which draws in moisture.  Still perfectly safe and fine to use within the duration of its shelf life. 

Body butters, body scrubs and body washes have a 1-year shelf life.  Shelf life of these products is based on the earliest expiry of any of their ingredients. 

Store all products in a dry, cool area out of direct sunlight.

All products are made fresh for each monthly restock.

WILL BATH BOMBS STAIN MY TUB AND/OR SKIN?

When bath and body products are formulated correctly with the colorant manufacturer’s suggested usage rates, they should not stain your skin or tub.  However, we strongly encourage you to frequently clean your tub to remove soap scum, dirt, oil and product buildup that tends to form that yucky ring around the tub.  The cosmetic colorants used in bath products may cling to buildup, but can easily be removed with a sponge and some bathroom cleaner you determine is safe for the finish of your tub.  A tub that is porous or lacking enamel may stain.  If you hold a bath bomb while it is releasing colors in the water, your hands may temporarily take on the color(s) of the bath bomb, but will fully wash off within a day or 2.  It is recommended that you simply place the bath bomb in the water, sit back, and enjoy the show 😊

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS SAFE FOR KIDS/SENSITIVE SKIN?

Our products are made from 97% natural ingredients (naturally occurring and plant derived).  The remaining percentage of ingredients are the fun colors and scents which are cosmetic grade, and free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates.  Products that may come into contact with water (i.e. body wash, body scrub) contain a preservative to maintain the formula and keep mold from growing.  Skin sensitivities vary from person to person, and we are not legally or professionally qualified to provide medical advice as to how individual sensitivities may or may not be affected.  If you have a skin condition or sensitivities, we recommend you seek advice from your physician prior to use of any bath or body product, and use at your discretion.  We can assure you that we use the highest quality cosmetic and food-grade ingredients sourced from licensed reputable suppliers in Canada.  We are fully transparent and always happy to chat, so please contact us with any additional questions you may have.  

Fun fact: our main bubbling ingredient is naturally derived from coconuts!

OTHER

Products containing a fragrance with any percentage of vanillin content may discolor over time.  Although we use a stabilizer to slow down potential discoloration, a product may discolor as it is exposed to air and the fragrance oxidizes.  The discoloration does not affect the stability or performance of any product.
